T-SAT: A Comprehensive Learning Platform
T-SAT is an Android application developed by Society for Telangana State Network (SoFTNET/T-SAT) to provide quality education to the people of Telangana State. The app uses satellite communication and information technology to telecast four channels, T-SAT NIPUNA and T-SAT VIDYA, which cater to distance learning, Agriculture Extension, Rural Development, Tele-Medicine, and E-Governance requirements.
The mission of T-SAT is to Educate, Enlighten, and Empower the people of Telangana State using audio-visual technology and take the best education and training facilities to the stakeholders. This app channelizes various educational and training resources and enables quality faculty to reach out to the last mile institutions. The app's training facilities in the area of Women and Child Welfare, Rural Development, Skill Development, Health, Agriculture Extension, etc., help end-users acquaint themselves with the developments in the respective fields.
